You'll find me listed as P. Kristina Pearson in all the real estate licensing records. The real estate division requires first names and I've always been known by my middle name. It can get confusing until you know me. I invite you to call me Kristina. It's how everybody knows me.
Kristina has a huge collection of awards, boxes of trophies and files of certificates of recognition. Yet that is not who Kristina is. When you enter her office you won’t see any material evidence of her success, although you definitely feel it. While all of this recognition of outstanding performance is important to her, it is simply the result of what she does for her clients all day long.
Kristina’s career in real estate spans over 25 years in Las Vegas. She is a graduate of Puget Sound University. Kristina sees the market as
ever-changing. Kristina dedicates herself to knowing the latest information regarding market trends, design principles, community news and
the changing needs of sellers and buyers. Kristina pays attention; she listens to her client’s and keeps her efforts in a tight parallel. Kristina’s
clients are what she values the most. Kristina is smart and gets the job done right; more importantly, she does it in the name of each of her
clients -- first and foremost.
Kristina is known to be a leader and it is evidenced by her awards and community recognition. Kristina serves the community in many ways. She is a leader within the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors® serving on committees and volunteering for many projects. She is a member and past Chairman of the GLVAR GREEN Committee and holds the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) GREEN designation, which is one of her biggest passions – being GREEN. She has written Sustainable Living articles for the Southern Nevada Realtor Magazine. She serves on committees at the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR) which is the professional association for Realtors® in the Las Vegas Valley. This organization works on both a national and community level for the benefits of its membership. Kristina is president of her own Home Owner’s Association. She feels being active in the community is a responsibility that comes with natural leadership.
Kristina has found her passion in residential real estate. Through her passion, she has tremendous knowledge and experience in selling high end real estate and the communities in which these properties are built. She is a forward mover in high performance building principals and decreasing the size of our carbon footprint both locally and globally.
Kristina was kind enough to answer a few questions during a recent interview:
Q: How do you find the time to get so much done and not sacrifice quality?
K: It is a near-proven phenomenon that when a person is filled with passion, time seems to yield itself to the cause. I have experienced this so many times in my life. It is how I accomplish goals for my clients. I feel that when persistence has a purpose, success comes more easily.
Q: How do you feel about the market today as compared to recent years?
K: Real estate has been ever-changing since the beginning of time. Like Gilda Radner was so famous in saying “It’s always something”. I believe that with every changing point, there is something to be learned and a challenge to win through. If it were a flat market, I would be doing something else with my days!
Q: Where is the best place to live in Las Vegas?
K: Las Vegas is full of great neighborhoods. We have a place for every lifestyle. I specialize in the west side of town. It is where I live and where I work. I am located in Summerlin which is a large master planned community. There are some neighborhoods located just outside Summerlin that are highly desirable as well. I have concentrated my business in this geographic area. I feel Realtors® are best when we define the area in which we are an expert. After all, in real estate it is location, location, location! I believe in practicing the same mantra for which our business is famous. I make one exception, and that is for Lake Las Vegas. I think this community is unique and the luxury homes and home sites in this community are exceptional.
Q: I noticed you have many things other than real estate on your website. This seems rather unique in the business. What is the reasoning behind this design?
K: Not all of my clients are currently selling or buying real estate. I think it is important to have information available at a single point to serve their needs, all of the time. In fact, I myself use my own website to find things quickly. Between the Go2 Concierge and Go2 Places tabs and you will find everything from in-home services to shopping to outdoor recreation! My clients are clients for life so I designed an area that would serve their everyday needs outside buying and selling.
Q: Do you have a motto?
K: My slogan or branded tag line is “Your Way, First Class”. I think it says it all in four words.
Q: Have you defined a Mission Statement for your business?
K: You bet! My Mission Statement is important to me and I have it framed on my office wall:
“My belief is my mission statement and my commitment to you. I believe that when it comes to one of the most important decisions in your life, such as investing in real estate; TRUST is foremost. You need to trust someone to act upon your behalf. Someone who will ensure that the financial investment you are working toward is protected and honored. I know I will earn the trust you place in me.
In real estate, the term we use to define value is “highest and best use”. I know that as your team leader, you will enjoy the confidence of putting your time and your reputation to the “highest and best use”.
